PÄ The Center for Democracy and Technology har de over en halvÄrig periode studeret hvor man skal passe pÄ sin email-adresse, hvis ikke man vil pÄ spammernes irriterende mailinglister. UndersÞgelsen konkluderer klart at email-adresser listet pÄ websider er langt stÞrste kilde til spammernes lister, men ogsÄ at email-adressen kun skal slÞres ganske lidt i HTML-koden fÞr spammernes "robotter" (spiders) som sÞger email-adresserne, ikke kan se dem. Denne slÞring kan laves sÄ almindelige brugere stadig kan lÊse email-adressen som de plejer samt bruge mailto-links pÄ websiderne (udskift snabel-a med den tilsvarende "character entity"). Men det er selvfÞlgelig ikke til at vide hvor lang tid der gÄr fÞr spammerne evt. fÄr udviklet mere avancerede "robotter". Se den linkede rapport for flere detaljer...
