Første beta-version af Opera 7 er ude nu til Windows. Har ikke selv prøvet browseren, men den er blevet vel modtaget de fleste steder. Min interesse ligger særligt i DHTML support, og tidligere har Operas svaghed ligget i begrænset DOM-support og specielt manglende "dynamisk reflow" som i praksis gjorde at man måtte sidestille browseren med den forældede Netscape 4.x. At dømme efter nedenstående linkede specifikationer ser det nu særdeles kompetent ud på DHTML-området. Microsoft, Mozilla/Netscape og KDE/Konqueror ser ud til at have fået en særdeles seriøs konkurrent når det gælder top-klasse DHTML og DOM support!
